Open area Occupancy Sensors

baylightingoccupancy-sensorsAutomated controls are estimated to increase lighting efficiency by as much as 40%. Controls such as the fixture mounted occupancy sensors can be attached directly to each fixture so that only the fixtures needed at any given time are energized. This type of occupancy sensor can be coupled with day light harvesting technology to further improve the efficiency of the facility.

While the exact amount of energy savings generated by automated devices varies greatly do to the wide range in applications in which they are used, RMP has determined that these devices are well worth their investment and as such they are currently offering to cover a large portion of the costs associated with the purchase and installation of these sensors. With this kind of investment offered by Rocky Mountain Power, It is difficult to see a down side.
